The Young Professionals Network (YPN) is a group of young community and business leaders dedicated to improving our community by connecting and developing with young professionals. YPN focuses on providing networking and leadership opportunities for young professionals in Monett and the surrounding Monett area. YPN programs include small group networking events, professional development programs and seminars, quarterly social events, and an annual formal event designed to connect the up and coming leaders of our area.
To enhance the vitality of the Monett area by promoting the development of your professionals.
To keep those who are not going away for education in Monett after graduation and entice those who travel for education to come back to Monett.
The YPN are a dynamic group that will use social media to connect with members. Avenues of communication used by the group would include, but not be limited to, email, a direct link on the Monett Chamber of Commerce website, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
We host several different types of events including mixers, lifestyle events, community events, educational seminars and professional networking, and volunteer opportunities. Frequent "Lunch and Learns" and held that include inviting business leaders to speak to the YPN for 20 -30 minutes that focuses on Professional development.

Becoming a member is easy! Just fill out the application below, or contact the Monett Chamber of Commerce office.
Age Requirements: 21 - 40
The Advisory Committee of the Young Professional Network meets on the 2nd Friday of every month from 11:30am - 1:00pm. The Young Professionals Network will meet every 3rd Tuesday of the month from 12:00pm - 1:00pm
The location for the next meeting will be announced during the current meeting and distributed via electronic resources. The meetings will be held at different locations throughout the year to enhance the dynamic and visibility of the Young Professionals in the Monett community.
Attendance of at least 6 meetings per year is recommended.
No. The YPN is a program of the Monett Chamber of Commerce; however, YPN membership and Monett Chamber of Commerce membership are completely separate. Visit the Monett Chamber of Commerce website to learn how to become a Chamber member.
Annual dues are $30 for Chamber members and $60 for non-Chamber members.

We offer three levels of Partnerships.
This partnership level would be a lunch partner during their month of choice. The Silver Partner would be able to complete a 5 - 10 minute promotional presentation on their organization (during lunch) at their sponsored meeting, as well as be able to provide marketing materials to be distributed to members.
A Gold Partner of the YPN would be a contributing member who has sponsored the quarterly event of choice. This partner would be recognized at quarterly events as a contributing Gold Partner. A Gold Partner would have a business spotlight, which would be a 5 - 10 minute presentation by their representative or member of the YPN. A Gold Partner will also have their logo placed on YPN marketing materials and promotion on YPN social media sites and the Monett Chamber website. A Gold Partnership would have a single YPN membership paid for one year.
A Platinum Partner would be the headlining Partners for the year. This level of Partnership would be acknowledged at all events (monthly meetings, quarterly events, etc.), and a company representative welcome to all events for one year. A Platinum Partner would have a logo placed on any Young Professional promotional materials for one year. A Platinum Partner would have one Young Professional membership and one Executive Committee membership paid for one year.
